TITLE : IN MOMENTS OF STILLNESS
SERIES
AUTHOR : RENZO CICILLINI

Two analog photo series by Renzo Cicillini, exploring the quiet presence of places when nothing seems to happen and everything can be felt.

“I photograph places when they have fallen silent. That’s when I begin to see.” – Renzo Cicillini

Renzo Cicillini visits urban spaces and remote landscapes, but only when they become quiet.

A square just after the crowd, a promenade before sunrise, he looks for the pause, not the spectacle.

From this moment of stillness, his images emerge.

His approach is stripped down, attentive, and precise, focused on light, form, and atmosphere.

The first series, Conversations of Silence, captures moments when words are unnecessary.

Empty benches, fading light, a shadow across concrete. These images speak not through events, but through presence.

They reveal how a quiet place can hold emotion without explanation.

The second series, Evening Peace, focuses on the shift between day and night.

When the light softens, the atmosphere changes. It’s not stillness as an absence, but a soft letting go.

This series translates that transition into calm frames: composed, quiet, and full of breath.

Cicillini’s work has been recognized in international photography competitions.

With a reduced aesthetic and a visual language, his silent frames invite us to pause and feel what remains.
