TITLE : WHEN YOU LIVE IN A SMALL PLACE
SERIES
AUTHOR : MARCO GUIDI
“Print Your Vision” was our latest Open Call to select a winning project and print it as a photobook.
We’re now showcasing the finalist projects on our website.
This is the series that Marco Guidi has presented to the Open Call.
“It’s a photographic project that aims to convey the feeling of living in a small place, where superficiality or naivety often prevent one from fulfilling oneself or finding a path, or where passion and talent aren’t enough to take flight due to limited opportunities. The series, overall, unfolds between melancholy and a sense of regret for not having tried a different path. However, there’s a resolution at the end (not present in this selection). One wonders if the future and the path of one’s passion really depend only on the place or, above all, on the subject.”.
