TITLE : RODINA
PHOTOBOOK
AUTHOR : DIMITRIS MAKRYGIANNAKIS

The photographic projects are not the sum of extraordinary individual photos, but visual stories in which each single image is a fundamental piece of the puzzle.
In this case, the author also takes great care of the aesthetics of each photo so that they work as a whole.

“RODINA” is a photobook that delves into the delicate essence of life, the constant presence of death, and the lasting power of family bonds.

It is a visual dialogue with mortality, driven by the need to confront personal fears and find solace in the notion of family.

Through Dimitris Makrygiannakis’ evocative images, “RODINA” explores the fragile nature of existence, the omnipresence of death, and the enduring strength of familial bonds.
