TITLE : THE WEIRD AND WONDERFUL NORFOLK COAST
SERIES
AUTHOR : THOMAS GRANT
Thomas Grant presents his Norfolk, particularly the coastal area.
Although it is his own home county, he manages to rediscover it and present it to us in a fresh way.
“Peace and quiet, tranquility, a sense of calm, weirdness, things out of place, these are just some of the things that I try to capture and convey through my photography.
I’m blessed to live near the coast of Norfolk which has plenty of the aforementioned in bucketloads.
My photographic mission thus far has been to try and capture and document these locations as a way of feeding my nostalgic hunger.
To try and take a snapshot of time and space and convey the feelings I’m experiencing whilst walking around with my camera.
I like to focus on the spaces, the architecture, the feeling of the space itself.
I try not to question why I like the things I like and from that the photographs I take, I just go with it, a creative compulsion. “
